Asa Zoological Park

Containing "typical" zoo animals and some other atypical ones as well as (the Japanese Inoshishi "wild boar" and a lesser panda from China), Asa Zoo provides a day of fun, especially for children. Located on the outskirts of Hiroshima city, the facilities occupy a beautiful spot on the mountainside just north of Hiroshima. A petting zoo and ponyrides are also available fro children.

Transportation:
    Take the Dobutsu-koen - Asahigaoka bus from Hiroshima
    Bus Center to Asa Dobutsukoen-mae; about 40 minutes.
